Working Maine
Some of the most beautiful places in Maine aren't shaped by nature alone but by the people who rise before dawn, work with their hands, and have built their lives around the rhythm of the seasons.
Having worked as a commercial fisherman, I know that the coast isn't just a destination. It's a workplace. The harbors, boats, weathered buildings, and working waterfronts are part of a way of life that has sustained families and communities for generations.
Through this collection, I hope to honor that legacy.
These paintings celebrate the quiet dignity of everyday work: the glow of harbor lights before sunrise, boats returning with the tide, and the places where hard work and natural beauty exist side by side. They're not just scenes of Maine; they're reflections of the resilience, tradition, and craftsmanship that define it.
My hope is that these paintings preserve more than a moment in time. They preserve a way of life that deserves to be remembered, appreciated, and passed on to future generations.
